The Law Firm of Ramsey, Skiles, Streva & Bourgeois, L.L.C. began as The Law Office of R. Scott Ramsey in 1974. Mr. Ramsey built a small, multifaceted law office in Morgan City, Louisiana where he practiced serving the St. Mary Parish and surrounding South Louisiana community for over 30 years. He then hired a young, caring attorney, Mr. S. Patrick Skiles, in 2004 to join him in representing the citizens of south Louisiana in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases. For several years, they operated the law firm of Ramsey & Skiles to much success.
In 2008, they brought in an aggressive, dedicated attorney named Nicole Dufrene Streva to represent those in need of family law matters. In 2017 the firm welcomed a seasoned and former defense attorney, Lloyd “Tommy” Bourgeois, Jr. to take over the social security disability practice and handle successions and wills. And so, that is how the firm has grown to what it is today—The Law Firm of Ramsey, Skiles, Streva & Bourgeois, L.L.C.
